Pack 809 Annual Family Campout

Each summer, the scouts and families of Pack 809 gather for a fun-filled weekend of camping, usually during the month of May or June. The scouts enjoy activities such as campfires, crafts, sports, songs and skits, leave no trace training, swimming and a Sunday Scouts own Service. Scouts participate in the cooking and cleaning up of the camp and got the full experience of wilderness life if only for two days. A great time is had by all.

The 2012 Family Campout, scheduled for May 18-20, 2012 will be held at the Broad Creek Memorial Scout Reservation, Camp Saffron at 1929 Susquehanna Hall Rd, Whiteford, MD 21160.

Please complete the registration form below for your family and return it by the April pack meeting. We need a rough headcount for planning purposes. Registration fees include use of the campground, Saturday breakfast, lunch and dinner, planned activities and Sunday breakfast.

Saturday evening we will have a campfire program where the scouts will advance to their new rank. For those who can't attend the entire weekend or dont want to camp, we welcome you to join us for all the festivities on Saturday from breakfast through the campfire program. The same rates apply.
