Pinewood Derby

Racing in a Pinewood Derby is great fun. It's a great learning and bonding time between Cub and Akela as they design and build their derby car and prepare it for the big race. Win or lose, you'll take pride in having done your best. When you race in a Cub Scout derby, you learn craft skills, the rules of fair play, and good sportsmanship—things you will remember all your life.

The 2012 Pinewood Derby will be held on February 26, 2012, at the Fallston United Methodist Church. All cars MUST be checked in on February 18th. Staff will be there to check the cars and help you make adjustments if necessary for the race. All cars will be taken on February 18th and brought to the Pinewood Derby race on February 26th.
